When the COVID pandemic began, the UT digital team was tasked with creating a new microsite that would serve as the COVID information hub for university faculty, staff, students/families, and visitors.

My role: Content designer, copywriter

I worked with our staff UX researcher and UX designer through multiple stages, including brainstorming, user journey mapping, wireframing, and reiterating after testing and feedback.

My deliverables: information architecture, navigation bar, buttons, FAQs, descriptive copy, chatbot script

Chatbot

After collecting data that most of user-submitted questions were about vaccines, followed by building reopening schedules and steps to take after testing positive, we created a chatbot to answer these most-asked questions instantly. I wrote the script below.
