WanderBudget Travel App
WanderBudget is an app that provides users with a way to organize their trip expenses.
Problem 1: Current users said the page that lists their trip lodging information doesn’t provide enough information on expenses and requires them to take too many steps in order to quickly see what has been paid for. Current navigation is also confusing.
Goal/Solution: Revamp the app’s lodging page by adding simple text to give a status update on each reservation. I also updated the navigation to be more clear and user-friendly.

As part of the user journey, users receive a text message confirmation when a hotel has confirmed their payment.
Problem 2: Although the original text message was personable, the length and amount of information overwhelmed users and felt spam-like.
Goal/Solution: Condense the text message to provide users with the main point and a way to easily head back to the app to review payments if they’d like (through a hyperlink). I also removed the mention of the survey in the original text and recommended that it be communicated to the user via email.
